I wonder what you think a potential regulatory solution might be? Tech seems disinclined to self-police, Twitter's belated efforts notwithstanding. I know they see themselves as platforms, rather than publishers, but it's hard to argue when so many people get their information from them.
Twitter’s tagging is a start as well as broader enforcement of their own platform standards. I know that there is a downside to editorial judgements but blatant lies, unfounded conspiracy theories and incitement to violence has to be called out no matter who the source IMO
